Show Missionaries at BAC Organize Service Organization The "Friars Club", a group of returned missionaries at the B. A. C. have organized a service organization and are preparing to launch an active program on the campus and in cooperation with local church groups. According to G. O. Larson, sup. erintendent of the Cedar L D S Institute, the club consists of students at the B A C who have served six months or more in the field as LDS missionaries. Newell Warr, Beaver, was elected president; Rondo Man-waring, Man-waring, Blackfoot, Idaho, vice president, and Donald Whlttaker, Clrcleville, secretary. The club will operate as a social and service ser-vice organization for a probationary proba-tionary period. It will then apply for a charter as a chapter of the Delta Phi, national honorary fra-ternity. fra-ternity. Part of the club's activities will include rejlglous work among the residents of the college dormitories. dormi-tories. The members will also work with officials in the Cedar Stake, in providing programs for Sunday evening services and in stake missionary work. |
