Show Auto Accident Injures Two Men Two men were Injured Friday evening in a two-car collision 12 miles north of Paragonah. Injured were C E. Grainger, 32. Salt Lake City, who suffered fractures of both legs, broken ribs, crushed ankle bones, head lacerations and bruises, and Pvt. Jack R. Waldren, 22, Los Angeles, stationed at Ford Ord, California, head lacerations. Waldren was a passenger in the Grainger car which was demolished. Both received treatment at the Iron County hospital and Grainger Grain-ger was moved to the Salt Lake general hospital Saturday. The Grainger car, heading south on U. S. Highway 91 without with-out lights, sideswiped an automobile auto-mobile driven by L. Mac Thomp-son, Thomp-son, 19, Milford, according to J. Lowe Barton, state patrolman, who investigated. Mr. Thompson and Barbara Fotherlngham, 17, Milford, a pas-senger pas-senger in the car, were not injured. in-jured. Damage to the Thompson car has been estimated at $250. Grainger was issued a citation for driving without lights. |
