Show QUEEN WILL REIGN AT B. A. C. ON HOMECOMING DAY THIS FRIDAY Five candidates for Queen of the Homecoming celebration at I the Branch Agricultural college; were announced this week, and one of the girls will reign during dur-ing the activities tomorrow. Candidates are JoAnne Raw lings, Cedar City, sponsored by I Zeta Nu fraternity; Dolores Urie, Cedar City, sponsored by Tau Epsilon; Mildred Sargent, Cedar City, sponsored by Phi Sigma XI; Anne Ockerlund, Loa, sponsored by Gam.na Psi, and Norma Deem, Delta, sponsored by Iota Iota. Students are voting today for the queen, and the winner will be announced tomorrow during the assembly at 11 a. m. The Queen will be crowned at the Homecoming Ball following the football game in the evening. It Is planned to have the Queen presented at the Ball by the i Bronco player scoring the first touchdown during the game, according ac-cording to the committee In charge of the program. The queen will reign over the activities Friday, including the parade at 5 p. m. down Main street, the game and half-time activities and the Homecoming ball. RALLY TONIGHT A Pep Rally is being held by the students this evening, starting start-ing with a bonfire gathering at the school and going Into a snake dance which will wind itself down town, where skits and yells will complete the rally. The program includes an assembly program, pro-gram, a review parade of the new RQTC unit on the campus, a homecoming, parade, par-ade, a football game, BAC Broncos vs the Westminster Parsons of Salt Lake, and a big dance as the climax of the day's activities. |
