Show Democrats Meet, Organize for Coming Election Lorln C. Miles, principal of the Cedar City Junior high school was elected Democratic City Chairman In a meeting held last night by the local Democrats. Mrs. Carl Hazel was elected vice chairman to work with Mr. Miles In the coming municipal election. A nominating committee w'as appointed to canvass the party for possible candidates. It will report back to the Democratic nominating convention, which will be held Tuesday, October 18. All city Democrats are urged to be present at the convention October Oc-tober 18. Retiring city chairman Al Fisher Fish-er conducted the meeting last night, and county chairman, G. O. Larson gave a brief report from the State Central committee, which met last week in Salt Lake City. |
