Show ! Local Conference To Attract Business Leaders A community conference in Cedar City on Nov. 8 will draw together four leaders of Industry from the Intermountain West, according to W. Kirk Daly, chairman chair-man of the affair. Accepting invitations to take part in the discussions are Walter Walt-er Mathesius, president of Geneva Gene-va Steel Corporation and the Columbia, Co-lumbia, Iron Mining company moderator; Ambrose J. Seitz, executive ex-ecutive vice president, Union Pacific Pa-cific Railroad company, Omaha, Neb., Dr. O. Preston Robinson, assistant general manager, Des-eret Des-eret News Publishing company, Salt Lake City, and Chester J. Olson, regional forester, United States Forest Service, Ogden. It is expected that the discussion dis-cussion will attract representatives representa-tives from communities throughout through-out southern Utah and eastern Nevada. General theme of the conference Is "The Relationship of Industrial and Resource Development De-velopment to Southern Utah". Sponsor of the conference is the Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation co-operation with the Branch Agricultural Ag-ricultural college. |
