Show r j s. ; i - t i , s JANICE KAPP PERRY SUSAN EASTON BLACK GAYLA PRINCE r 'An Evening with LDS Artists I & Performers' set for April 4 w On Saturday evening, April 4, Today's Family, Inc. will present "An Evening With LDS Women Artists and Performers" showcasing LDS women artists, soloists and performers. The evening is especially planned for LDS women to attend during general Priesthood meeting. It will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the downtown Marriot Hotel (Crossroads Mall), grand ballroom. Featured will be popular recording artists and composers com-posers Janice Kapp Perry and Deanna Edwards. Susan Easton Black, well-known speaker, author and professor of religion, will be the keynote speaker. Wendy Top, author and dramatist, will perform an act from her one-woman play, "Emma Hale Smith: A Woman's Perspective." Gayla Prince, artist of the famed "Ten Virgins" painting, will speak and unveil several of her new artistic ar-tistic works. Nancy Alder, president of "Story-tellers Guild," will demonstrate the fine art of story telling. Larry Barkdull, president of Today's Family, Inc., a company dedicated to promoting LDS arts and artists, said, "More should be done by all interested people in promoting and preserving the great art the LDS market is capable of creating.
