Show Dr. Wallin named president of i i Humana North medical staff fa I A Layton Family Practice physician physi-cian has been named president of the medical staff at Humana Hospital-Davis North in Layton. Dr. Richard Wallin, a graduate of the University of Utah College of Medicine, began his new responsibilities respon-sibilities in January. Dr. Wallin is affiliated with the Tanner Clinic in Layton and has been in practice for nine years. He is a member of the Davis County Medical Society and the American Academy of Family Practice. As president of the medical staff. Dr. Wallin will direct physician activities, ac-tivities, coordinate the work of various physician committees and act as physician liaison with Humana Hospital and sit on the Board of Trustees. All physicians with active staff privileges at the Layton hospital have the opportunity to sit on a number of hospital committees involved in-volved in policy, procedure medical staff issues and quality, assessment Also named to serve the medical staff in 1992 are Dr. Robert Treft-president-elect and Dr. Steven Hicken, secretary.
