After opening the season with a 13-0 loss at Bonneville, Bonne-ville, the Lady Vikings recorded a solid performance in its second league game. Viewmont, which utilizes several juniors and sophomores, returns to action Tuesday when Layton comes to town. Roy 13, DAVIS 3 KAYSVILLE Forget that lion and lamb stuff, the Lady Darts are probably hoping to end the month of March like a lion. In its region one opener Friday, Davis was "lamb"bastedbyRoy 13-3. "They had a good pitcher and we didn't hit the ball as well as we would have liked to," said Davis coach Chimane Creer. "And defensively defen-sively we struggled." However, the Lady Dart coach said her team will improve as the season progresses. Like Viewmont, Davis sports a young team that will likely get better with experience. Next up for Davis is a road trip to Bonneville Tuesday. On Friday, the Lady Darts face Clearfield at 12:30 p.m. . I GOT IT: Viewmont dropped a 5-0 decision to Weber last Fri-. Fri-.
