Show Emily F. Moss LAYTON Emily Elizabeth Flint Moss, 75, of 3923 W. Gentile St., died Sunday, Aug. 28, 1988 at an Ogden nursing home of cardiac arrest. She was born March 28, 1913 in Lay ton, a daughter of Clarence M. and Ada F. Young Flint. She married Everett Porter Moss Sept. 4, 1930, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Nov. 13, 1983. She was a lifelong resident of West Layton and was a graduate of Davis High School. She was an active member of the Layton Second LDS Ward and served as Primary teacher and visiting teacher. She was also active ac-tive in the Relief Society. She enjoyed cooking and quilting. Surviving are three sons and two daughters, Raymond F. Moss, Ogden; Calvin J. Moss, Bountiful; Brent E. Moss, Clearfield; Mrs. George Dee (Joan) Page, Kaysvill-e; Kaysvill-e; Mrs. John D. (Linda) Page, Cen-terville; Cen-terville; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren . Also surviving is one brother, Murland Y. Flint, Ogden. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary. Bishop Michael Stevenson officiated offi-ciated at funeral services Sept. 1. Family prayer was offered by Murland Y. Flint; prelude and postlude, Patricia Sargent, Carmen Car-men Dibble and Marianne Call; invocation, in-vocation, John D. Page; remarks, Bishop Michael Stevenson; medley med-ley of Primary songs, Cherise and Trisha Page, accompanied by Shauna Griffin and Joan Page; tribute, tri-bute, Shelly Moss Barnett; violin duet, DeAnn Draper and Michele Page, accompanied by Joan Page; speaker, Thayne Corbridge; "I'll Walk With God" by Mabel Moss and Iola Murray, accompanied by Marianne Call; benediction, Blaine Thomson. Dedication of the grave was by George Dee Page with interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bryant Page, Jeran Page, Kevin Page, Curtis Page, Ryan Moss, Rex Moss, Michael Barnett, Brent Draper, Ben Harris and Jim Griffin. |
