Show Washington County Chapter For Paralysis Victims Holds Annual Meet Wed. The annual meeting of the Washington Wash-ington County Chapter of the National Na-tional Foundation for Infantile Paralysis was held Wednesday, Sept. 17, 1941, at 5:30 p.m., in the county school board office. The report for the year indicated much has been done for some of the most seriously afflicted children of the county. The following officers were reelected re-elected for the ensuing year: E. W. Simmons, chairman; W. B. Mathis, vice-chairman; W. W. McArthur, Mc-Arthur, treasurer; Tillie Winsor, secretary; D. C. Watson, member at large. Included in the county investigating investi-gating committee are Claud Hirschi, Hir-schi, Hurricane; Heber Truman, Enterprise; Dr. W. J. Reichman, St. George; Byrle Napier, nurse, St. George; Marguerite Kearns, nurse, Hurricane; Pearl Spencer, county welfare worker, St. George. The purpose of this committee is to investigate and report all cases to the executive board. |
