Show Mrs. Viola H. L. Holt, Dixie Pioneer, Buried At Washington WASHINGTON, Utah. Funeral services were held at 3 o'clock Saturday, in the ward meeting house for Mrs. Viola H. L. 'Holt, 78, pioneer of southern Utah, under un-der the direction of Bishop Wallace Wal-lace Iverson. Interment was in the Washington cemetery. Musical numbers were as follows: fol-lows: Ladies' trio, "Whispering Hope", Mrs. Arthur Paxman, Mrs. Harry Gentry and Mrs. William Baker; vocal solo, "Face to Face", Mrs. William Baker; vocal solo, "Perfect Day", Mrs. Clark Nisson; duet, Mrs. Arthur Paxman and Mrs. Harry Gentry; reading, Mrs. L. P. Vincent. , Speakers were Pres. Harold S. Snow, Arthur Miles with closing remarks by Bishop Iverson. Prayers Pray-ers were by Calvin. Hall and William Wil-liam Tobler. The grave was dedicated dedi-cated by James E. Hall. Mrs. Holt was born in Providence, Provi-dence, Utah, Dec. 25. 1S63, daughter daugh-ter of Newton Daniel and Sarah Ann Mather Hall. Mr. Larson died in 1922 and Mrs. Larson was married in 1937 to Henry D. Holt, who also survives sur-vives her. Her children are Mrs. Willard Neilson and Raymond Larson of Washington, Mrs. Bert Connell and Frank Larson of Pioche. Also surviving are 27 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: James, George, Eph-raim Eph-raim and Calvin Hall of Washington Wash-ington and Mrs. Lydia Turner of Delta. |
