Show Henry Bringhurst Dies At Cedar City After Major. Operation TOQUERVILLE, Utah. Henry Bringhurst, 58, died at the Iron county hospital, Sept. 10, following follow-ing a major operation. He was born Dec. 17, 1882, a son of William A. and Selinda D. Palmer Bringhurst, early Virgin river valley settlers. On Mar. 20, 1907 he married Belle Hammond in the St. George L. D. S. Temple. A life-long resident of Toquer-ville, Toquer-ville, he has been engaged in farming all his life. He has been an active member of the church, having served as assistant superintendent super-intendent of Sunday school, counselor coun-selor in the M. I. A. and has always al-ways been willing to give of his musical ability whenever asked. He was a good citizen and a good neighbor and friend. He is survived by his widow, two sons, Milo H. of Pocatello, Idaho, and Gordon Bringhurst, of Fort Lewis, Wash.; two daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Ervil Sanders of La-Verkin La-Verkin and Ruth Bringhurst of (Continued on page five) Henry Bringhurst Dies (Continued from first page) Toquerville, sixteen brothers and sisters, Mrs. Lula Kleinman of Toquerville; George and Frank of Salt Lake City; Morris of Cedar City; Mrs. Anna Barton, Leo, M. William, Samuel and Charles of Toquerville; Joseph of Taylorsville; Mrs. May Duffin and Mrs. Ella Granger of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Linda Duffin of Los Angeles; Mrs. S. R. Wilkensen of Idaho Falls; Mrs. Vera Thurber and Mrs. Arvilla Jefferson of Provo and five grandchildren. Funeral services, under the direction di-rection of Counselor Harvey Theobald Theo-bald were held Sept. 13 as follows: fol-lows: Song, Harvey Jackson, Lloyd Jackson, Mrs. Avey Bringhurst, Wilma and Dixie Kleinman; prayer pray-er Joseph Barton; song, chorus; speech, Riley Savage of Leeds; solo Laurel Jackson; speech, Bishop Morris of LaVerkin; song, chorus; benediction, Bishop Vernon Church of LaVerkin. Burial was in the Toquerville cementery with Pres. Claud Hir-schi Hir-schi dedicating the grave. |
