Show LaVERKIN Winferd Gubler Reporter LaVerkin has a new record two baby girls born on the same day, Sept. 20. It is the first time in LaVerkin's history such an event has taken place. The proud parents par-ents are Mr. and Mrs. Winferd Gubler and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Pectol. It is the Pectol's first child, Mrs. Pectol being Miss Beulah Beu-lah Gifford before her marriage. Cyrus Gifford has joined the Las Vegas migrants and gone down intending to spend the winter. win-ter. The M. I. A. held their opening social on Tuesday evening in the form of an open-air weiner roast and program combination. There was a good attendance. Those from LaVerkin attending the State Fair in Salt Lake City' include, Mr. and Mrs. J. Edward Gubler, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Wilson, Wil-son, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Ervil Sanders and Mr. and Mrs. Max Woodbury. Sanders Bros., exhibited some of their turkeys and Bill Sanders Sand-ers some of his and they took all the turkey ribbons down the line. "Rah" for Dixie Birds! |
