Show NEY HARMONY Mrs. O. Hammond Mrs. L. Mathis Reporters Last Friday evening the Sunshine crowd motored to Echo farm, where the following enjoyed a melon feast given by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Anderson: Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Prince, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. F. Prince, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Hammond, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Grant, Mr. and Mrs. M. O. Wool-sey, Wool-sey, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mathis and Mrs. Lurene P. Taylor. During Dur-ing the evening the group presented pre-sented Mr. and Mrs. Anderson with a beautiful friendship quilt. Mr. and Mrs. George Prince received re-ceived word of the birth of a granddaughter at the Iron county hospital. The parents are Mr. and Mrs. Dee Stapley of Beaver. Our Y. L. M. I. A. was recently re-organized with Mrs. Lula Mathis, president; Viola Walton and Vera Prince, counselors; La-Verna La-Verna Englestead, secretary. The out-going officers were Wilma Pace, president; Florence Prince and Mamie Huntsman, counselors and 'Venice Prince, secretary. A number of our people attended at-tended the opening session of the St. George Temple on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Pierce and family and Mr. and Mrs. An-thon An-thon Pace attended the rodeo at St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gordon of Cedar City were Sunday visitors here. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. George Riggs and son of Hurricane were visiting friends Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cornelius and James E. Taylor of Virgin were in town Sunday. Mrs. Blanche Jones, Mamie Gardner and Mrs. Jackson were here Thursday in the interest of the Y. L.M. I. A. The Parowan stake presidency visited us Sunday. We also were visited by slake Sunday school officers. of-ficers. The D. U. P. held their last meeting for the season on Thursday, Thurs-day, at the home of Mrs. Viola Walton. Mr. and Mrs. James I. Prince spent the week-end in Rockville. Mrs. Elmer Taylor and children were visiting friends here Sunday. |
