Show Lutheran Church to have retrial of Jesus During the next six weeks of I.-nt, th'' members of Our Saviour Lutheran Church will be holding a mock retrial A Jesus. For this occasion sev-:al Biblical characters from the life ;:ri'i times of Jesus will be called to lewdness le-wdness stand and cross examined b the prosecuting attorney. The prosecution will attempt to establish that the world would be better off without Christ and the church. The defense attorney will try to refute th'.-v; arguments. The people in attendance will serve as the jury. The result of all this, according to Pastor David Bahn, will be to mak'' those in attendance take a close look at their own faith. "I hope that the people. will be moved to set Christ free to His work in their own hearts and lives through these presentations. Theso Chancel dramas will go a long way ; i stimulating such a self-examination. They speak to the Christian where -is: in a skeptical and inconvincer! world. Hopefully they will answer sonv-of sonv-of the very questions and doubts on th" minds of many of God's people," h-added. h-added. Last Sunday, those in attendance for church received a Summons indicating the charges and giving these special Lenten worship services a trial-lil -flavor. The retrial is set for 7 p.m. each Thursday at Our Saviour Luther&.'i church. The church is located at 4 : South and 5th West in Vernal.
