Phone 709-210 Learning Center students perform Karen Statham's students at the Uintah District Learning Center at 1 149 N. 2.r)00 W., presented the students and their parents a grandeur amateur performance of "The Red Fox and the Hungry Tiger." The students performing per-forming were Jerry Shimek, Rebecca Redfoot.Tom Williams, Linda Parrent, Johnny Peamon and Sandra Kidd. The play was taken from a reader. Mr. and Mrs. Narvel (Bun) Massey and son, Rick, flew to Phoenix, Ariz., last week (tickets were Rick's treat) to visit their son Randy, Vicki and family. They met the plane and took them to their home in Thatcher. While Grandpa and Grandma Massey were in Thatcher, That-cher, their 18th grandson was blessed. While traveling through Apache Junction, they came upon Jack and Crystal Powell and Frank and Georgia Couture, also residenLs of Vernal, on vacation in Arizona. Berkley and Barbara Hall gave their son B.J. a cake and ice cream affair to help him celebrate his 3rd birthday. Among the guests present were his grandfather and grandmother Hacking (Grant and Mildred). Last week Mr. and Mrs. W. Lamond Tullis were on their way to Provo when their car rolled over in Daniels Canyon. Mrs. Tullis' sister, Mrs. Ella Hansen was also in the car. No one was hurt in the accident. For those of you who do not know this already, I have multiple sclerosis and now a broken leg. However, I do have a wheel-chair so let my phone (789-2178) ring several times and I will get to it as fast as possible. Cody and Gaile Jenkins have gone to a bull sale in southern Utah. |
