No one was seriously in- jured, but about 400 customers of Utah Gas were without gas for part of the day. One-car rollover shuts down qas in Maeser Ethelene M. Freston, 57, of Roosevelt, was involved in a one-car accident ac-cident at the Maeser corner in last Thursday morning's heavy fog. The accident occurred at 8:12 a m. at Stale Road 121 and 2."n'i W . when the 1980Pontiac Sunbird Mrs. Freston was driving east skidded off the fog -covered road, hit a gas main owned by Utah Gas and flipped over on its top, according to State Trooper David Jacobsen. The accident also caused a gas shutdown shut-down in Maeser for part of the day. Approximately Ap-proximately 400 customers were without gas for a short time, reported Gary Stettler of Utah Gas. and crews w ere sent out to light pilots until about 7 p.m. The Utah Highway Patrol, ambulance am-bulance and other officials responded to the call. Mrs. Freston was treated and released at the Ashley Valley Medical Center for minor injuries. ' |
