Show Preparedness Fair Fri. and Sat. at Vernal Stake Are you prepared for every emergency? emergen-cy? Need help to keep your head above water? Is your marriage shaky? In case of a crisis, do you possess th-spiritual th-spiritual strength to make it? These and other topics will be discussed and displayed at the Personal and Family Preparedness fair to be held Friday and Saturday at the Vernal Stake Center. Sponsored by the Relief Societies of the Vernal Utah LDS Stake, the fair w,ii cover such topics as resource management, manage-ment, physical health, emergency preparedness, financial management, home production and storage, career development and making marriage work. Displays will be in the cultural ha!! -Friday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. ai;i! Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p m Friday evening lectures beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel area will be given by Terri Ann Flint on depression, making marriage work will be discussed discuss-ed by Dr. John Childs, and spiritual strengths by Ross Merrell. Saturday classes will be held on literacy, education and career development develop-ment by John Childs. Financial management will be discussed by Lloyd Winward and resource management will be covered by Peggy Tolman. In the afternoon, home production and storage will be discussed by Madeline Ward. Physical health and recreation by Sarah Wagner and emergency preparedness by Donna Merrell. The displays and discussions are open to the public. |
