She is the nutrition coordinator with Head Start and enjoys working with children, sports and sewing. Connie Southam has a major in early childhood with an endorsement to her Bachelor's degree in elementary education. She has a minor in language arts and is running a pre-school. She plans on teaching in the Uintah School District next year. She enjoys outdoor activities, sports and camping. Dianne Blaine Hardy has a major in music and plans on working on her Master's degree. She teaches private and group piano lessons in her studio. She enjoys music, reading, and going to school. Those receiving their Master's degree include: David C. Neal, who is majoring in secondary education. He teaches English and reading at Roosevelt Jr. High and enjoys golf, horseback riding, reading and teaching. He plans on staying in teaching. Bill Fausetthas a major in secondary education with emphasis in social studies. He teaches English, history and geography at Roosevelt Junior High. He plans on staying in the teaching profession and enjoys farming, far-ming, outdoor sports and community and church service. Robert F. Chandler is majoring in secondary education with an emphasis in social science. He teaches history and social studies at Vernal Junior High and plans to stay in teaching. He enjoys athletics and being involved in teaching and educational classes. Joseph A. Lance majored in elementary education. He teaches sixth grade at Naples Elementary in Vernal. He wants to continue teaching and get his administrative certificate. He loves kids and enjoys aviation, traveling, reading and is a certified aviation teacher. Heaton Could Cost Less to Eat Believe it or not, it isn't all bad news with regard to the economy. Dawson Ahalt, an economist with the Agriculture Department, recently predicted that food price increases in early 1980 will be smaller than those of recent years. Although prices will still rise, due to the impact of inflation on the costs of producing, processing and marketing food, the increase is not expected to be as great as that for the first half of 1978 and 1979, he says.
