Show Bicentennial Camp of DUP meets . Bicentennial Camp of the DUP met at the Alta Winward home for their March meeting. There were nine members in attendance with one prospective new member, Cindy Jewks. The meeting was called to order by Captain Jan Hatch. The prayer was given by Janice Bigelow. The members sang "The Grandfather Clock." There was a discussion on how to get more members to attend the monthly meetings. The announcements were as follows: A club picture should be taken for the yearbook each year. Everyone's papers should be in. The ceramic dolls are almost sold. Each member should make an inexpensive article to be sold at the DUP museum this summer. The museum needs articles of clothing and white elephants to sell. Next meeting, the nominees will be taken for new officers to be elected in our May meeting. Dana Burfett took her Blazer Scouts and cleaned the yards of the museum. The lesson was given by Sara Wisegerber on immigrant pioneers. The lesson was written to inspire decendants to explore sources for stories of their pioneer ancestors and publish their findings. |
