Show Hatch dies in county hosiptal Clyde (Speck) Nelson Hatch, 85, died ' in the Uintah County Hospital April 11, 1980. His funeral services were Monday, Mon-day, April 14, in the Thompson Vernal : Mortuary. - ; - - ' He was born April 14, 1895 to Alva Alexander Hatch and Mary Elizabeth Nelson in Vernal. He married Eva : Teeples, Dec. 12, 1917 in Salt Lake City, and they later divorced. He married : Lola Hooper Sept. 6, 1959. She died Oct. 2, 1972. He later married Clara Lowell Caldwell, Oct. 12, 1973, who died March 1, 1976. He married Mildred Louise Smith Sept. 4, 1979 in Vernal. He was a sheep rancher, member of " the Vernal Fourth Ward and a World ' War I veteran. Bishop John H. Lent was in charge of the funeral services, and Milburn Hatch, Hat-ch, Jr., gave the family prayer. Marva . Lent and Don Walker sang "Beautiful . Land" accompanied by Ruth Walker, and David Hatch gave the invocation. ' After remarks by Bishop Lent, Duane Soderquist spoke. Lois Erickson, Marva Mar-va Lent, and Don Walker sang, "Tumbling Tumble Weeds," accom-. accom-. .: panied by Ruth Walker. The benedic-; benedic-; tion was given by Ron Hatch, and Boyd Hatch dedicated the grave at the Vernal Ver-nal Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sammy Hatch, Tommy Baese, Carl Baese, Claude Hatch, Hat-ch, Lou Hatch and Bert Hatch. He is survived by his widow of Vernal Ver-nal ; son, Harvey Hatch of Salt Lake City; Ci-ty; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren grand-children and many nieces and nephews. |
