Show Ambulance crew thanked Dear Editor: On Oct. 20, 1979, we the members of the Mrs. Chloe Johnson family called nintah County Ambulance to transport our mother, who is 87 years of age, from Deep Creek to the Uintah County Hospital. She was suffering from bleeding ulcers of the stomach. She was in very critical condition. Soon after we called, even though they had to travel 35 miles to get there, Deputy Sheriff Larsen arrived. He checked my mother and directed the ambulance crew by radio to the right ranch and told them about my mother's condition. We appreciate the professional way the ambulance crew handled this serious situation. When we arrived at the hospital, the doctor on duty sent her on to McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden. The ambulance crew continued on to Ogden, giving my mother the same professional care. On arrival she had over half of her stomach removed and is now doing very well. You should be proud and pleased in Uintah County to have a service of this kind. The people working on your ambulance are professional and efficient. ef-ficient. We felt very confident that our mother would make it through this ordeal when we saw the care she received during that long ride to Ogden. We would like to thank publicly, Deputy Sheriff Larsen, the ambulance am-bulance crew, Tom Wilhow, Dennis Hough, and K.N.Sandra Bolton Arnold. They saved our mothers life. We appreciate ap-preciate all they did. We as a family are proud of this service that Uintah County has. We can't praise it enough. Thanks again, The members of the Mrs. Choloe Johnson Family |
