Show BLM makes correction on workshop meetings A correction has been made in the press release on the public workshops for the powerline transmission routes for the proposed Deseret Generation and Transmission Cooperative Project to be held Jan. 16 in Salt Lake City and Jan. 17 in Price. The fourth paragraph should have read: As proposed by the Company, the project would involve construction of three 138-kVa.c. transmission lines and two 345-kV a.c. transmission lines. The 345-kV lines would extend from the plant site to the Mona substation near Nephi, Utah and to the Ben Lomond substation near Ogden. The 138-kV lines would extend from the plant site to the Rangely, Vernal, and Upalco substations. sub-stations. The transmission line routes preferred by the Deseret Cooperative would cross private lands and lands administered by the States of Utah and Colorado, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Indian Affairs (Uintah-Ouray Indian Reservation) and the Bureau of Land Management. The last sentence should have said: Maps. ..are available for review in Vernal at the BLM office and Ashley National Forest Office. |
