Lloyd and Hazel Smith from Rock Springs visited with Mable Murray and the Ronnie Merkleys during the holidays. A baby boy arrived at the Uintah County Hospital Dec. 26 three weeks early to Morgan and Vickie Ainge. He weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz. Ryan and Angie are waiting for their new brother to come home. Ted Rowe from Oklahoma, Carlyn White from Salt Lake City visited at the home of Anna Oldham. The Marc Mansfields visited in Salt Lake City with the Larence Russell Bratons, Mrs. Susan Mansfield's parents, before returning to Lisbon, New Hampshire. New residents of Dry Fork Canyon are the Steven White family from Denver, Colorado. Mr. White had been a missionary in Vernal for the LDS Church in 1972 and 73. He liked the area and the people and has returned to establish his family home here. College students home for the weekend were Marty and Lane Bennion from Snow College at Ephraim, visiting , the Barton Bennions, Arligh Peltier, Eric and Lorie Saun Johnson from B.Y.U. at Provo, visiting the Hank Peltiers and the'Venile Johnsons. Chris Porter has returned to Utah State University at Logan. Linda Gilbert from Roosevelt visited at the Jay Anderson home Sunday.
