Funeral Mass honors the late Frances Barker Funeral Mass for Frances Barker, 65, were held Friday at 11 a.m. in the St. James Catholic Church. Father Davich officiated. Rosary Services are held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Pallbearers were Larry Strieker, Leonard Heeney, William Sanders, James J. Ivy, Jack Starner, Gene McFarland, Carl Underwood, N.P. VanMaren and Nick Meagher. Frances DuBois Barker died in the St. Marks Hospital, Salt Lake City, June 25. She was born December 5, 1913 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Joseph Laurel DuBois and Susan Wargo DuBois; married Elmer Julian (Skeet) Barker June 11, 1932 in Kansas City, '. Kansas. He died April 15, 1974. She was a homemaker; active member of the St. James Catholic Church; member of Dinaland Country Club; member of St. James Altar Society. Survivors: two daughters, Mrs. Jason (Christine) McCullah, Vernal; Mrs. Darrel (Sue) Hoffman, Jackson, Wyo.; six grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Ivy, Doyleston, Penn. Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Vernal Mortuary.
