Show Dinah Duds exchange gifts Tne regular meeting ot the Dinah Duds Unit was held at the Masonic Temple Tem-ple in Vernal, November 27. Eight members were present and one visitor, Betty Devlin. The meeting was opened by president, Lady Creta Payne. Minutes of the Oc-, Oc-, tober meeting were read and.the treasurers report was given. Two needy families, one in Vernal and one in Roosevelt will receive gift food baskets from the Dinah Duds Unit this year at Christmas time. The Unit will also have a booth at the Holly Fair in Roosevelt on December 6 and 7. Lady Edith Gentry and Lady Rosie Bozarth were hostesses to the meeting with their famous pumpkin pum-pkin pies. On December 1 a pot-luck pot-luck Christmas dinner was held at the Masonic Temple in Vernal. Thirty members, friends and guests attended the party. par-ty. Gifts were exhanged and white elephants were given for games played. Much fun and good food was available to all. A short business meeting was held as there will be no other meeting held in December. The next slated meeting will be January 28. |
