Show X DAVID CHISTION ROBERTS Former resident receives Maeser funeral service David Chistion Roberts, former Vernal Ver-nal resident, was honored in a funeral service Nov. 28 in the Maeser First Ward Chapel. The service was conducted by Bishop Floyd W. Bodily and Douglas Lawson and Lorin Merkley spoke. Musical numbers were presented by Dana Doe Smith and Ruth Jones. 1 Roberts died Nov. 23 at his home in Redding, Calif. He was born July 28, 1913 and his parents are Frederick W. Roberts and Anna Christensen. He married Margaret Oaks May 30, 1939 in Vernal and was later divorced. He was a veteran of World War II, a former resident of Vernal for many years, and a member of the LDS church. chur-ch. He was preceeded in death by two sons, Gregory V. and Don S. Roberts. Survivors are his sons, Tony Roberts, Costa Mesa, Calif.; David 0. Roberts Norco, Calif.; and Le Grande Roberts, serving an LDS mission in Argentina; his daughters, Mrs. Carol Ann Smuin, Rochelle Roberts and daughter-in-law, Sue Roberts of Garden Grove Calif, and Corwyn J. Roberts of Orange, Calif, and ten grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, Mrs. Adley Ruttman of White Bird, Id.; Raymond Roberts of Lehi, Ut.; Don Roberts of Coulee, Wa. and Sahey Roberts of John Dar, Ore.
