A reception will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Oaks-McKowen plan December wedding Mr. and Mrs. Martin E. (Salty) Oaks announce the engagement and forthcoming for-thcoming marriage of their daughter, Sandy, to James Howard McKowen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard McKowen. All are of Vernal. Sandy is a 1972 graduate of Uintah High School and is employed at Taco Time. James attended Uintah High School and has been employed at the Cowboy Corral. The couple will be married December 14 at the Kiwanis Scout House with a reception following from 7 to 9 p.m. . They will make their home in Vernal.
