Show 1 Naples 1 -u JcJ Openshaw I Phone 789-3157 I Openshaws return from vacation Glenn and Ada Openshaw returned Saturday evening from a two week vacation. They visited Richard and Fae Evans and family in San Diego, CA., over the Thanksgiving holidays and spent two days in Sandy with the Dale Openshaw family. They returned Saturday with Norman and Janna Haslem and son, Brad. Mr. and Mrs. Gaylon Cook and family went to South Dakota to visit Mr. Cook's parents who are serving and LDS Welfare Service Mission to the Sioux Indians. Scott Kendall of Ogden visited over the weekend at the Arnold Baker home. Scott was a missionary companion of Dean Baker while in Ireland. Vena Baker entertained at a surprise" birthday party for her son. Brett's 11th birthday, Saturday. The boys enjoyed games and refreshments. Carl and Myrna Cobbs and son, Greg, went to Steamboat Springs to watch their son, Ken, wrestle Friday and Saturday. Ken won first place in his matches. Visiting the Dennis Jay Atkinson family over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Rick Pringle and daughter and Mrs. Amy Pringle all of Salt Lake City. Rick is Mrs. Atkinson's brother and Amy Pringle is her mother. Karl Southam is home from the Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City. Craig and Darlyn Ivie and children spent several days in Salt Lake City on business. Jimmy and Minnie Jones returned from an eight day business trip to Riverton, Wyo.; Colorado; Gallup and Albuquerque, New Mexico. The family went to Salt Lake and Tooele for Thanksgiving holidays. Edris Karren received word of a new-granddaughter new-granddaughter born to Dr. Jay B. and Sally Karren of Smithfield. The baby weighed eight pounds. Edna R. Call moved into her new-home new-home last Tuesday. Ross and Nelma Merrell went to Salt Lake City Thursday. Toni Reynolds accompanied by Annette Reynolds and baby, Kevin, went to Salt Lake Friday where Kevin had a medical check up. Shirley and Afton Price went to Orangeville, Utah, on business, Saturday. Orval and Carma Stevens and son Cully went to Salt Lake City Friday, where Mr. Stevens had a medical check up. Annette Reynolds entertained at a pink and blue shower for Carol Rainey last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bascom and family of Salt Lake City visited the Gary Bascom family and other relatives and friends over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Coon are moving to Rexburg, Idaho. |
