The purpose of the publication is t provide recognition for the positiv achievements of the outstandin students, to provide scholarships and t provide colleges a referral service, b sending announcements to colleges an universities and to prospectiv employers informing them of the ir dividual students selected for tii recognition. This year Miss Gardner was select? for her achievements in academic ex cellence, vice president of the junio class, American Legion Girl Stater, ol fice aide, band president, chorus, or chestra, church worker, Jr. Sunda; School chorister, drum majorette honor roll, Jr. National Honor Society outstanding drum majorette award o 1978, and outstanding achievement ii track and field 1974. For the month o; November she was honored by the Ver nal Rotary Club, which recognizes ar outstanding student from Uintah Higt School. Miss Gardner plays a variety of m struments and sings. She has won many talent contests since the age of 7 and she shares her talent in and out of the community, especially with hospital benefits and senior citizens. |
