NEW FALL OF SNOW TO INCREASE WORK FOR ALT A TOURNEY Preparing- for the additional work which will be necessary on the downhill course at Alta because be-cause of the heavy, wet snow of Tuesday night's storm, ski enthusiasts en-thusiasts Wednesday began final plans for the T.LS. tournament to be held Saturday and Sunday. The tourney entry lists will definitely close Thursday noon, according to Ames K. Bagley of the Junior chamber of commerce committee in charge of the event. Drawings for places will be made Thursday night The list Included 40 men and 10 women Wednesday, Wednes-day, Bagley said. The road to Alta was closed Wednesday morning, the United States forestry service reported, but plows were expected to clear the road during the day. Five inches of heavy new snow lay upon some 48 inches of solid snow as the storm continued.
