Two hundred friends of Miss Eleanor Elea-nor Ralphs and Allan Thomas learned of their betrothal and approaching ap-proaching marriage at a tea given Wednesday afternoon at the home of a sister of the bride-to-be, Mrs. Gerald Cannon, 130 Gilmer drive. Miss Ralphs Is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Thomas Ralphs of Logan, formerly of Salt Lake City, and her fiance Is of this city, a son of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Thomas of Tooele. As the guests were received at the door by Miss Marsha Balllf. they wer given tiny parchment scrolls revealing the nuptial news, by little Margot Cannon and Patricia Pa-tricia Ralphs of Logan. Presiding at the serving table were Mrs. Oliver W. Edwards and Miss Alice Ralphs of Logan; Mrs. Thomas F. Ralphs, Mrs. Sam D. Thurman Jr., Mrs. Lane W. Adams and Miss Barbara B. Davis. Miss Mildred Badger was In charge of the dining room, and assisting her In serving were Mrs. Wllby M. Durham, Mrs. Clayton H. Kimball, Mrs. David E. Madden, Miss Shirley Gardiner, Miss Phyllis Phyl-lis Thorley of Cedsr City, and Mils Dorothy Emmettand Miss Clara Jean Anderson of Logan. The bride-to-be Is a graduate of the Utah State Agricultural college col-lege at Logan, and Is a former student of the University bf Utah, where ah became a member of the CM Omega sorority, Pom club and Trotters.
