' ( 1 . v 1 i : ' - .. - ' Besides being a character of fiction and a movie actor, Pinocchio, the little wooden boy, is now a pillar of salt The statue to the character has been molded from salt taken from Great Salt lake by M. E. Brooks, sculptor, of 1738 Eighth East street. Viewing the statue here are Jean Lar- -sen, 5, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David LaVaa Larsen, 2362 Seventh East street, and RossKigby, 5. son of Mr. and Mrs. Bryant O. Rigby, 2347 Seventh East street. The figure, which la six feet high and weighs about 700 pounds, is on display at the public library. |
