T. C Gregory, spokesman for the association, said employers would suggest that provisions be made for damages in the event of contract violations. President Frank P. Folsle of the association said the Pacific coast shipping Industry In-dustry was prepared to pledge from tlO.000 to $20,000 as a guarantee. Roseoe Craycraft, I. L. W. U. secretary, said that $25,000 would be "entirely Inadequate" and "such sum could not be posted by the union, which is not a financial Institution." |
