Police Probing Stench Bomb Police Wednesday Investigated the source of a stench bomb which reportedly "exploded" In burning . fragments when thrown Into an apartment house owned by Mrs. C E. Wymer at 603 First avenue. Mrs. Wymer said she was sitting sit-ting In the living room of her downstairs apartment lata Tuesday Tues-day when the bomb was hurled through the front entrance, landing land-ing In the hallway outside her apartment She said the fragments were scattered la the hallway and that one of them was burning. All the rooms were filled with an offensive odor, she said. She reported she extinguished the burning fragment before damage was caused. Mrs. Wymer told police other such bombs have been thrown la her apartment house, the last on two months ago.
