Show i Hats Featured At 1 Spring Rush Party Some say in Spring a woman's fancy turns to hats and this would seem quite true at the spring rush party of the Springville chapter of Beta Sigma Phi last Thursday . evening. The party was held at the home of Mrs. Mary Bird with hats as the theme. Each member came attired at-tired not in a new spring hat, but one of some years ago. Pretty little original models complete with dainty flowers and frills were used as favors during a nicely arranged ar-ranged luncheon served at small tables. The prize for the most appropriate appro-priate hat worn went to Mrs. Mary Breuninger and Mrs. Inez Biggs won the game prize for Neighbor. Mrs. Frances Clark sang Beta Sigma Phi songs and Mrs. Mary Bird gave piano selections during dur-ing the evening. Special guests at the party included, in-cluded, Mrs. Breuninger, Mrs. Leon Clyde, Mrs. Emma Gene Thorn, Mrs. Ruth Weight, Mrs. Inez, Mrs. Reva Lynn, Mrs. Lois Anderson, Mrs. Josephine Thorn. Members attending were, Mrs. Hannah Marie Day, Mrs. Dona Christensen, Mrs. Maryn Jacobsen, Mrs. Elaine Fletcher, Lois Thorn, Mrs. Evelyn Robbins, Darlene Norton, Mrs. Mary Martindale, Mrs. Norma Jenkins, Mrs. Dorothy Stewart, Mrs. LaRae Stewart, Mrs. Beverly Bjarnson, Mrs. Frances Fran-ces Clark, Mrs. Mae Huntington, and Mrs. Bird. |
