Show Cultural Arts Club Elects Mrs. Owen Lambson was elected president of the Cultural Arts club at the meeting last Wednesday Wednes-day evening which also marked the tenth anniversary of the organization or-ganization of the group. Mrs. Fayne Laney was hostess assisted by Mrs. Floyd Holley. Other officers named include: Mrs. George Pehrson, vice-president; Miss Clara Harmer, program pro-gram chairman; Mrs. Ray Whiting, secretary-treasurer; Mrs. LaMar Miner, reporter and historian. A delightful featrue of the party was the pretty birthday cake served to the club members during dur-ing the evening. Mrs. Carl Poul-sen, Poul-sen, a former member, who recently re-cently moved to Salt Lake City, was presented wth a rose as a token of friendship. Mrs. Glen Christensen, retiring club president, conducted the meeting and announced piano selections played by Annette and Kathleen Laney. ' In attendance were, Mrs. John Stokes, Mrs. Jay Nielson, Mrs. LaMar Miner, Mrs. Floyd Holley, Mrs. George Bird, Mrs. Bert Cher-rington, Cher-rington, Mrs. Earl Child, Mrs. Ross Ellis, Mrs. Ray Whiting, Mrs. Blaine Thorpe, Mrs. Glen Christensen, Christen-sen, Mrs. DelMoine Christensen, Mrs. George Pehrson, Mrs. Dave Thomas, Mrs. Ray Peterson, Mrs. Reed Holdaway, Mrs. Oral Frand-son, Frand-son, Miss Clara Harmer, Mrs. Blaine Clyde, Mrs. Verl Whiting and Mrs. Carl Poulsen. |
