Show "Daughter of Well Known Former Residents Engaged Friends and relatives in Springville Spring-ville are interested in the announcement announce-ment this week of the engagement of a daughter of well-known former for-mer residents of this city. Miss Mary Clyde, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grover Clyde of Milwaukee, Wis., formerly of Springville, will exchange marriage mar-riage vows with John Taylor Hyde, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orson John Hyde of Salt Lake City, on April 8, in the Salt Lake Temple. A number of social events are planned for the couple, who will spend a short time after their marriage in Wisconsin. A wedding breakfast will be given by the bride's parents at the Alta club in Salt Lake City April 8, and Mr. Hyde's parents also plan a party in Salt Lake City for the couple. Both young people have attended attend-ed the BYU, where Miss Clyde is currently director of the home study bureau of the school.
