Show Local People Enjoy Gamma Chapter Tea Several Springville people participated par-ticipated in' the attractive tea given by the Gamma chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Wednesday evening at the Joseph Smith banquet ban-quet hall. It was an open session featuring a theme of improving public relations rela-tions and a delightful program was arranged by the organization which is composed of school teachers. tea-chers. Mrs. Mae Huntington reviewed the life of the founder of the organization, or-ganization, who was a native of Texas and she told of the large number of chapters organized throughout the country. Other numbers on the program included string music by the Misses Dorothy Doro-thy Clark, Elaine Jessie, Glenna Webb and Virginia Miner of Springville. Miss Norma Sumsion, Springville, gave piano selections; Jean Howard, Provo, vocal numbers; num-bers; Mrs. Jean R. Jones, readings. Mrs. Wyroa Hansen, president of the chapter was in charge. Mrs. Rea Straw and Mrs. Catherine D. Wills of Springville assisted with the entertainment. |
