The survey recently made by the Joliet, 111., Association of Commerce, Com-merce, asked the question, "Is one week of clean-up really enough to keep any town clean for the other 51 weeks?" The answer to the survey, reported re-ported by Forbes Magazine of Business, was an overwhelming, "No." All city authorities agreed that a Spring Clean-up was necessary to draw people's attention to the need for a thorough clean-up but they also emphasized that a cleanup clean-up job must be a continuous project pro-ject to be effective.
