Show Jaycees Set State Travel Trophy Dinner-Dance; Elect New Officers Arrangements are being made to entertain about 200 Jaycees and their partners at a Travel Trophy dinner-dance and nroeram to be held Saturdav eve- Elected President . . . j v : ' . ' ' "' h : v , " ;t y ----- . . ,''-,. j r X "A ning, beginning at 8 p.m., at Mem-J ororial hall, announces President LaMar Miner. The Springville club won the trophy by having the most man miles at a recent meeting held in Ogden and it is customary for the winners to invite other clubs of the state to come to their city for the next trophy award program. Club members and their guests from most of the Jaycee organizations organi-zations in the state, are expected to attend the Saturday evening function of which Stanley Roberts is general chairman. Officers Elected Stanley Roberts was elected president of the Springville Jaycees Jay-cees during a regular dinner-meeting last Thursday evening to succeed suc-ceed LaMar Miner. Other new officers who will be installed in their respective positions posi-tions in April include: Dr. Fred Wise, first vice-president; Scott Bertelsen, second vice-president; Bud Done and Jay Lowe, 2-year directors; Matt Robertson, Ted Rowland and Piatt Watts, one-year one-year directors. Marcus Johnson is the hold-over director and the retiring retir-ing president automatically becomes be-comes state director. The new president has selected Reed Johnson to serve as club treasurer and John Carver is the newly appointed secretary. Sta nley Roberts |
