"The Ides Of March" Reviewed At Club Mrs. Mae Groesbeck reviewed the book, "The Ides Of March," by Thornton Wilder at the meeting of the Ladies Literary club last Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. LaRue Walker. Daffodils, pussywillows, orchid-colored orchid-colored iris and forsythia combined com-bined to bring a note of spring to the program which began with a tasty luncheon served by the hostess. hos-tess. She was assisted by her daughter, Mrs. Anna Lee Strong. Miss Ann Merrie Fry, accompanied accom-panied by Miss Pauline Boyer entertained en-tertained with 'two vocal solos. The meeting was conducted by Mrs. Ruby Christensen, who took up several items of business including in-cluding a proposal to increase the membership of the club. The next meeting of the club was announced for April 6, to be at Mrs. Christensen's home. |
