Goodliffe at the meeting of Modern Mothers club held at the home of Mrs. Ray Lovell recently. The discussion was taken from the book, "How To Live Beyond Your Means," by Margery Wilson, which deals with getting most happiness from everyday things around us. The book is being studied by the club members this year. Highlighting points brought out by Mrs. Goodliffe were the importance im-portance of short notes, the expression ex-pression of the affirmative attitude and the exclusion. of the negative buying stamps in large enough amounts to always have them on hand, and writing short missiles frequently in place of waiting for the time and effort for long letters. She also demonstrated a file for addresses, showing how to note anniversaries, an-niversaries, birth, change of address, add-ress, and other items. After a short business session conducted by President Mary Weight, the group enjoyed refreshments re-freshments served by the hostess to Mrs. John Ivey, Mrs. Paul Lloyd, Mrs. Ray Lovell, Mrs. Reed Holdaway, Mrs. Glen Pyper, Mrs. - r TTr;nnw William lurner, ivirs. viukuu West, Mrs. Richard Haglund, Mrs. John Stark, Mrs. Ed Forshee, Mrs. Bert Cherrington and Mrs. Goodliffe. |
