Show PLAN TO RECLAIM GREAT LAND TRACT Co-operation in the work of obtaining-data obtaining-data necessary to advancement of the protect to reclaim a vast area in the Colorado river region is being arranged between the states of Utah and Arizona. A telegram was received at the governor's gov-ernor's office yesterday from Anson H. Smith, chairman of the data committee of the. Arizona body promoting the project m behalf of returning soldiers, seeking the aid of this state in securing facts relative to the big project. Governor's Secretary O. J. Grimes sent telegraphic advices to Mr. Smith, telling him that a committee had recently beer, appointed to represent I'tah in the enterprise, with W. "K. Wallace as chairman, to whom the matter was referred. tt is understood that a committee from the stale of Arizona will be appointed to act in association with the 1'tah committee, commit-tee, which will later so to Washington to arrange details with Franklin K. Lane, secretary of the interior. |
