Mrs. TJ la Nickerson entertained the Rut;y Twelve club yesterday afternoon in the first meeting of tiie club for two j months. Luncheon was served at l:Ittj' o'clock and was followed by sewing and music. The luncheon table had a centerpiece center-piece of red carnations arranged in a crystal basket and the place cards were hand painted in carnations. , Musical selections were givien by Mrs. Frank Corle.es and Mrs. W. R. Hansen, vocalists, and Miss Thelnia Niclierson, pianist. Covers were laid for the club members and also for Mre. F. C San ford und Mrs. W. R. Hansen, who were guests. The executive board of the Utah Federation Fed-eration of Women's club will meet this afternoon at 2 o'clock In the parlors of the Hotel Utah. Mrs. E. O. Leather-wood, Leather-wood, president of the federation, will preside. Chairmen and subchairmen of committees for the ensuing year will be appointed. The Oliver O.' Howard Woman's Relief corps will give a card party this afternoon after-noon at U o'clock at the home of Mrs, V. D. Gaby, Vol Second avenue.
