Show WILSON DUE TO VISIT ENGLAND DECEMBER 26 LOXDON. Dec. 18. Premier Lloyd George and Foreign Secretary "Balfour have changed their plan to go to Paris on Friday to meet President Wilson, as it is possible that the president will come to London directly after Christmas. President Wilson is expected in ISngland on December 26. It is on the president's own suggestion sugges-tion that he ".s coming to England next week. A communication to that effect was received by the British government this morning. A reply was sent to the president, welcoming the suggestion. As a result it will not be necessary for Premier Lloyd George and Mr. Balfour to go to Paris, as it is expected that the conferences con-ferences between tho president and the British statesmen preliminary to the interallied inter-allied conference in Paris con be complete during the president's stay here. While no official statement could be obtained at the British foreign office this evening regarding President Wilson's possible pos-sible visit to England next week, it was stated that it was understood he would i come either Friday or Saturday. 1 It was said definitely that Premier Lloyd George and Foreign Secretary Baifour would not leave Louden until after Christmas. |
