WARNER, coast artillery, has returned to Peterson, Pe-terson, Utah, for a few days' visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Warner, j before accepting the position of athletic j coach in some of the high schools of the j state. Lieutenant- Warner was gradu- j ated from the Ogden high school in 1014 j and from the University of Utah in May, j 1913. He immediately enlisted in the ar- ! tlllery and was, sent lo Pitget sound, ! I and later to Fort Monroe for the officers' , I training school, where he was commissioned commis-sioned as lieutenant September 3. Vie ' wes discharged from service December 3 and, alter a short visit in New York and Washington, returned to Utah, lie was one of the best football men ever developed at the "U." |
