Show CHINESE DELEGATES ARRIVE IN PARIS FOR PEACE TALK PARIS, Pec. 18. Dr. Wellington Koo, Chinese minister to the United States, and S. Alfred Sze, Chinese minister to Great Britain, both of whom probably will be officially designated as members of the Chinese delegation to the peace conference, confer-ence, have arrived in Paris and are conferring con-ferring informally with members of the American peace delegation. Lu Cheng-Hslang, Cheng-Hslang, Chinese minister of foreign affairs, af-fairs, who will head the Chinese delegation, delega-tion, is expected here January 9. The Japanese delegates also are expected expect-ed about the same time. What plans the Chinese representatives will lay before the allies concerning Chinese Chi-nese treaty obligations and territorial rights are not yet clear. The Chinese ministers already here are hopeful that no objection will be offered to her Increasing Increas-ing her Import duties sufficiently to guarantee guar-antee adequate funds for the proper maintenance main-tenance of a government without miscellaneous miscella-neous foreign loans. |
