Show ELECTRIC WORKERS VOTE FOR STRIKE PITTSPIELD, Mass., Dec. 19. The Metal Trades council, representing 6000 employees of the General Electric company com-pany in this city, voted early this morning morn-ing (Thursday) to strike at 10 o'clock today in protest against discharge of thirty employees at the company's plant in Erie, Pa. The council charged discrimination dis-crimination was shown by the company in discharging the men. SCHENECTADY, N. T.. Dec. 18. Sympathy with strikers at the Erie, Pa., plant of the General Electric company will cause a tie-up of the Schenectady and four other plants of the company tomorrow, to-morrow, according to statements made by union leaders tonight.
