Show CAMP KEARNY PLANS MERRY CHRISTMAS CAMP KFARNY, F-an Diego. Cal.. Doc. IS. Plans for a merry outdoor celebration celebra-tion of Christmas at Camp Kearnv were announced todtiy. Y. M. C. A. officers have arranged to have a large tree brought to the parade grounds, where an entertainment program will be given. It is announced that at least n large number of men in the sixteenth division ! will receive presents. A bonfire Is planned as an addition to the program. I That Camp Kearny will be a busy place for at least six months more was the! opinion expressed today by Brigadier i General Peter V. Davison, commanding ! the Sixtietli division, in discussing reports1 that ten camps in the country might be' abandoned as soon as demobilization of the army was effected. 'No order affecting affect-ing the demobilization of the division has been received here and General Davison said he had received no official information informa-tion regarding the length of time that Camp Kearny would be used. |
